“Olympic Games in the imagination of children”
International contest for children and young people

Art. 1. The art contest is part of a national and international movement for promoting the olympic spirit and the values of olympism among the young talents in the school medium.It adresses children and young people from kindergartens,schools,highschools and from artistic and sport educational units.

Art. 2. The contest is promoted and supported by the International Olympic Committee,the Romanian Olympic and Sport Committee through the Romanian Olympic Academy and the Ministry of Education ,Research and Inovation.

Art. 3.   The children and young people can participate at the following age categories:
-  6-10 years category;
- 11-14 years category;
- 15-18 years category.

Art. 4.   Conditions of participation:
4.1. Each participant has the right to present a single work ,in the technque of his choosing,on paper,respecting the STAS A4 and A3 formats.The works that will go beyond the dimensions mentioned will not be admitted in the contest.
4.2. The works of art will not be returned to the participants.They could be part of an exposition in the country or abroad.All the copyrights belong to the Romanian Olympic and Sport Committee.
4.3. The works will be accompanied by the talon of participation,with all the data completed:name and surname,title of the work,unit of education: telephone/ fax, class/age,city/district and name of the guiding teacher. 

Art. 5.  The contest will have two phases:district and national
        5.1. The district phase will last until may this this year.
        5.2. Every District School Inspectorate will designate a jury which will include the inspector/art methodist and the physical education methodissalt.
5.3. At the end of the jury's operations and at the end of the classification operations, the District School Inspectorate will mail a number of maxium 30 works (10 per age category) to the Romanian Olympic and Sport Committee's address:Calea Victoriei nr.155,block D1,segment 5,3rd floor,sector 1,Bucharest,code 010073 until june 15 of the current year
        5.4. The final phase will take place inoctober the current year.

Art. 6. There will be prizes awarded to each age category,as follows:
- one first place;               
- one second place;
- one third place;                      
- five honorable mentions;
- three special prizes (one for each age category).

Art. 7. The most valuable works will be popularised on C.O.S.R (The Romanian Olympic and Sport Committtee)),in the "Olympic Spirit" Romanian Olympic Academy's newsletter,as well as in other specific printings.
